For 28 years, Sylvia Janetzki, MD, has led ZellNet Consulting in shaping modern immune monitoring standards for clinical research, with deep expertise in ELISpot and sample integrity. Her long standing collaboration with the Cancer Research Institute resulted in the creation of international proficiency panels for ELISpot, multimer staining, and ICS, driving the development of influential assay harmonization guidelines. She serves on the core teams of both MIATA—advocating for transparent, structured reporting of immune monitoring data—and the international PBMC Consortium, which works to elevate the quality, reproducibility, and scientific rigor of PBMC based research. Dr. Janetzki’s contributions include numerous scientific publications, book chapters, and a comprehensive reference book on ELISpot. She received her medical degree from Humboldt University in Berlin and completed postdoctoral training at Fordham University and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
