Yannick Baschung, Ph.D., is a senior analytical and CMC leader with over a decade of experience building and leading high-impact analytical organizations supporting drug product development and commercialization across diverse dosage forms.
As Associate Director at Solvias, he leads analytical and performance testing operations for diverse dosage forms and drug–device combination products, overseeing method development, validation, and routine testing from early clinical development to commercial launch. He brings extensive experience in complex drug product analytics, in vitro performance testing, and in vitro bioequivalence (IVBE), supporting products through critical development milestones and regulatory submissions by translating clinical requirements into fit-for-purpose analytical strategies, with a focus on data integrity, operational excellence, and regulatory and CMC strategy.
He is an active member of the RAPS and the EDQM Inhalation Working Group and holds a PhD in Biomedical Mass Spectrometry. His professional interests include aerosol and drug delivery science, advanced analytics of complex formulations, and translating clinical requirements into robust analytical strategies
